Scanning with FreeFixer is very thorough and it scans a lot of programs files, BHO's, dll's, home page settings and the Windows registry for spyware and adware. The problem with this app, however, is the fact that it doesn't provide you with any information about the suspect files it finds, leaving it up to you to decide whether to delete them or not. This can be quite dangerous if you don't know what you're doing because you could end up removing files that are needed by your PC.
